Welcome to my Fruit page. Fruit is one of the strongest free UCI chess engines available. Fruit was commercially available from September 2005 until July 2007, when it became freeware. It works fine under the Fritz or ChessBase interfaces. Fruit was vice world computer chess champion 2005 and has a unique playing style, making it a good addition to any chess-engine collection.
