Chess Engines GUI

Welcome to my Chess Engines GUI page.

GUIs are short for "Graphical User Interfaces". They set out the interface for what chess engines run in. A lot of GUIs come with their own engine, but for the GUIs listed below, you can use many free available Winboard or UCI Engines. The most common GUI here will probably be the commercial Fritz GUI, which runs a range of the world's strongest UCI engines.

For chess opening training and repertoire maintenance, I highly recommend the software I use, Chess Openings Wizard. This software was approved by Grandmaster Peter Svidler (FIDE rating 2744 as of January 2010) many years ago.
